On Monday I had the boys looked after and travelled to Brisbane to help welcome the imminent arrival of a new baby to our extended family. Di and Dave are expecting a baby to pop out any minute and it is with excited anticipation that I attended the Baby Shower. A little up market affair was very enjoyable with loads of baby talk and plenty of chamagne with too much dessert food. Strangely I came away feeling quite hungry. I must have talked up an appetite. I had the pleasure of sitting with my sister Sarah and enjoy uninterupted conversation. It was a delightful morning and I was happy to be included. Both Sarah and I returned to our cars with parking fines but we decided it was worth it. Thanks Di.

oh man what time was it?? Ken mentioned something in passing.. but with 3 kids.. didnt think I was going to brave the Stamford Plaza!! ha hahaha
I did not want to miss it for the world. The thought of child free time for me gave me extra incentive to find care for the boys. A bit difficult on a Monday and I can get out of the parking fine. Did we have more fun than Diana. Dessert, no kids and presents good company. What more would you want?
Ladies you look lovely! Karyn you have 2 very spunky boys, a very spunky family. I have loved reading your blog, You seem very happy and full of life, but then you always have been. just one of the many things I love about you. :)
