Young and in Puppy-Love!

This is the face of a very happy boy with a call from his girlfriend.  I took this photo by bursting into his room just after his phone rang and aimed the camera randomly, hoping for the best, and I'm lucky to even have got the shot as he practically picked up the whole bookcase and threw it at me for violating his privacy.  I was just as excited as he was to get the call after she had returned from holidays away.  It is such a lovely and innocent friendship and they are one of the only couples in year six who actually speak to each other.  If you can recall, back in the day, in year 6 your friends set you up with someone you've said you like and then they ask them out for you and then you never speak to your friends or the person you liked for days.  Well that's how this happened, only they DO speak.  Robbie thanked his friends for the set up and proceeded upon a lovely friendship that seems to have out-lasted the holidays.  He hasn't been able to bring himself to ask her out to the movies yet, but they did finally understand the value of having phone credit, moving their relationship to email (which is easier for me to monitor).  Best not to mention this post to Robbie, as he may die of embarrassment that everyone knows his biz, but it was too cute for me to leave it out.  Must go, he needs to check his email!!!!!

very sweet. They have to start somewhere. Being friends and actually talking is a great start.
