SQUARE EYES!

When a child looks like - exhibit 'A' and 'B' (below) - this while watching TV you can guarantee his time is up. He's had enough, he's finished, he's now bored. Even when he swears he is in the middle of a very interesting show, he really really really should do something else.

We have a no tv rule during the week in school term times. So come holiday time - every morning and evening - is devoted to the God of entertainment. The boys can't get enough of it. But this time I actually started to think that we might be abusing our children by allowing them to go for too long. Robbie is in the back ground watching tv on the computer and watching the one in the lounge. Two at once???? "STOP! No more TV!" I say with certainty. Tomorrow will be no TV day and you will play, create and enjoy. EXHIBIT A EXHIBIT B

Instead of the children getting up out of bed and creating a masterpiece drawing, or setting up a jigsaw, or cooking up a storm - this is a picture of the boys watching the tv. Problem.......It's not even turned on!
