End of term!

The boys and I are off to a great start to our 3 week holiday from school.  We like to celebrate the end of term with a special trip out for afternoon tea together.  It was very relaxing and we had no where else to rush off to.  This is a fabulous tradition for us and the boys always enjoy it.
Rocci copies his brother - lamington and hot chocolate. Robbie tries out a new tim-tam hot chocolate!  And says "This won't affect me at all!" Even Rocci sees a new Robbie emerging - HEEEELP!Some kids just can't hold their Chocolate.

COUSINEY WEEKEND!

We have had a lovely long weekend with plenty of visitors from both sides of the family.  Ken and Bobbie and the girls visited over night in what was the girls first sleepover.  We really loved having them over and only wish we took more photos.  We didn't get up to much, but stayed up as late as we could to squeeze all the time in that we could manage.  I sure enjoyed getting up early to feed the girls breakfast, not something I normally do, but they were so nice and well mannered and full of conversation.  It is remarkably different with a house full of girls and not boys, it was almost relaxing.  This is Miss G eating breakfast with Robbies mouse - very cute.
Right after the girls left, our other family turned up with their 2 boys.  They are gorgeous too, but completely different, its all go, go go, next, next, next!  I ended up running to chase scooter-cousin for a kilometre or so, which finally ended my exercise drought.  Scooter-cousin has great centre of gravity but watching him perch on this rock had me very very scared.  There is only rocks and water below, and I found myself unnaturally nervous and running through first aid procedures in my mind.  Should I climb down after him, would I take my shirt off to tend his wounds??
On a safer ledge the others sat watching, surfers, boats, birds, fishermen and each other, in a "What a lovely day" moment of AHHH!
We also had little time to sit and take in the fresh air.
