THE HOUSE SOLD LAST WEEKEND! YEAH!!!

In the end after all the waiting and no viewings or potential prospects, we had two buyers battling it out for ownership on Saturday.  We ended up getting more than what we were asking for with the added bonus of a quick settlement with the added option of renting the house back until December.  This is perfect for us as I don't want to move until the  Christmas holidays, so it has all worked out very well.  Once again, luck strikes us again.  

Movie World.

We went to Movie world this holiday.  Rocci's first roller coaster experience was a nightmare, likewise the little boat ride was a screaming crying nightmare and the dodgems........just don't go there!  We found a few things we could do instead.

 The up and down thing was waaaaaaaay better.

And the carousel was a real hoot....for me!

Donald and I tried 10 new positions before I was asked to get off.

Music Matters

I'm hard at work at the moment organising students in the Sunshine Coast Vocal Eisteddfod.  I have 63 individual entries and 5 duets, 3 trios and 2 vocal ensembles.  I still have piano students and a few of them will be performing the very next week too.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone participate and I wish all of my students well.  Still two weeks to go, but we are well on the way to many winning performances.  Good luck to my little ones.  

When I grow up......

This week saw Rocci's first dress up day at school and luckily his goal in life (this week) is to be an Army Man (I say lucky, because we had the approprate outfit).  Excitingly we drove past 2 Army tanks on the way to school and he gave them a right royal salute, much like the salute pictured, which nearly sent the tank driver off the road.  I'm sure he couldn't believe his eyes when this little GI wizzed by yelling and saluting in this outfit.  Sadly though, this young private had to hold his wee in all day, because his Sargeant didn't show him how to undo the belt.

I'm here...barely!

Hi everyone.  Thank you for your interest in our little family happenings.  At the moment I have not been blogging very much, but I really love it and like to write in positive things.  Life just isn't always rosy 100% of the time and I would rather stick to my motto - "If you cant say anything nice, don't say anything at all."  Or in this case "If you cant blog nicely then dont blog at all".  So I won't bore you with details of our little dramas or stresses.  I love you all and will write again soon.
